What is AIGoHelp Instant Translator?
AIGoHelp Instant Translator is a browser-based voice and text translation tool designed for short face-to-face conversations. It shows translated text and can play the translated sentence as speech.
Do I need to install an app?
No separate app installation is required. The tool runs on the AIGoHelp website in a compatible web browser.
Which languages are supported?
The current production interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Malay, Arabic, Hindi and Russian.
Does it support English and Vietnamese?
Yes. English-to-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-to-English are available in the current production language list.
Can two people use one phone?
Yes. The interface is designed with two mirrored sides so two people facing each other can take turns speaking on one phone.
How long can each voice turn be?
The current browser client limits each recorded voice turn to 15 seconds. The product is designed for short sentence-by-sentence exchanges.
Can I type instead of speaking?
Yes. Typed input is available, and the translated result can be played as speech.
Does it work offline?
No. The current production flow requires an internet connection because speech recognition, translation and text-to-speech are processed through cloud services.
What services process the voice translation?
The current production flow uses Google Cloud Speech-to-Text for recognition, Google translation services for translation, and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech for spoken output.
Does AIGoHelp store my audio or transcript?
The current AIGoHelp server code does not intentionally log transcript or audio content. It logs operational metadata such as request ID, language pair, translation model and timing. Requests are processed by third-party Google Cloud services, whose handling is subject to their applicable policies.
Is the translator free?
The AIGoHelp Instant Translator is currently available to use for free on the website.
Should I use it for legal, medical or contractual communication?
It is not intended to replace a qualified interpreter or professional translation service for legal, medical, contractual or other high-stakes communication.
